RULES
AND POLICIES FOR CONSIGNING MERCHANDISE

Merchandise
will be received for consignment on Mondays starting at about 9:00 AM to about 11:00 AM.
Or on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00PM to 5:45PM the store recieve consignments by appointment only.

Cloud 9`s commission is 50% for price points $1.50 up to $3.25; 39% for
price points $3.75 thru $9.00; 36% for price points $10.50 thru $39.00
and 22% for price points $40.00 and above.

A consignor may consign 15 items per week, of which only 7 can be clothing:
NO MORE THAN Women’s Men’s
2 Blouses 2 Slack or Jeans
2 Slacks or Jeans 2 Shirts or T-Shirts or Sweatshirts
2 Sweaters 2 Sweaters
2 Dresses or Suits
2 Jackets
2 Skirts
- Clothing must
be clean, in good condition and current style. All other merchandise must
be in good condition. If it has been repaired or has chips, etc., it must
be noted at the time of consignment. The tag will be marked "AS IS."
Otherwise the merchandise or clothing will be reduced 20%, or returned to
the consignor.
- Jewelry must
be approved by Manager before consigning. NO LEATHER CLOTHING.
- The Cloud
9 Receiving Room has the right to reject merchandise considered unsuitable.
- Furniture
or large items that take floor space are by appointment with the Manager.
Leave your name, phone number, and list of items. You will be called when
space is available.
- Merchandise
left for sale must remain in shop for 30 days.
- After 30 days,
clothing is reduced 50%; all other merchandise is reduced 20%. After 60
days, clothing is removed from the shop; all other merchandise is reduced
50%. After 90 days, all merchandise is removed from the shop. It is the
consignor's responsibility to retrieve merchandise. Consignors will not
be notified at the end of 90 days.
- The first
day of the month checks are prepared for the previous month, they are available
for pickup at the cashier beginning the 3rd of the month. If you want your
checks mailed, you should provide self-addressed STAMPED envelope.
IMPORTANT:
CLOUD 9 WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS FROM FIRE, THEFT
OR OTHER CASUALTY RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE MERCHANDISE.
